After beginning your day with a hearty breakfast at your luxurious hotel, set off to explore the bustling market square of Zakopane, nestled charmingly at the foot of Gubałówka Hill. Rising to an elevation of 1,126 meters, Gubałówka offers unparalleled panoramic views over the majestic Tatra Mountains, capturing the hearts of all who visit.

Don’t worry – no challenging climb awaits you! Comfortably ascend Gubałówka via a scenic funicular railway, allowing you to effortlessly reach the summit and fully absorb the breathtaking beauty of the Polish mountains. Arrival and Departure

The tour is land only; flights are not included. The tour starts in Warsaw and ends in Kraków. Please keep that in mind when booking your flights. However, for guests who prefer to depart from Warsaw, a convenient transfer by train can be arranged at no additional cost.

In case you wish to book pre- or post-tour hotel accommodations, the contact information for the tour’s first and last hotels is included in your tour confirmation email, as well as in the itinerary section of your tour account.

Activity Level: Balanced

The tour involves a moderate amount of walking each day, often on uneven surfaces. Each day typically involves 2-3 hours of walking and standing. Participants should also be able to ascend and descend several flights of stairs.

Flights

Our tours don’t include airfare, so your flight arrangements are completely up to you. Most tour members arrange to fly into Warsaw (WAW) and out of Kraków (KRK) — choose “multicity” on flight-booking websites. Booking round-trip to one city will require a connecting flight, train trip or additional overnight stay in Poland. We suggest arriving a day or two before your tour begins to allow ample time to get over jet lag and be well-rested for the first few days of your tour.

Weather

The best time to visit Poland is during the summer months, July and August, when the days are long, the weather is generally stable, and temperatures are pleasantly warm. It’s warm but not overly hot, which makes it an ideal time for comfortable and enjoyable sightseeing.
